Welcome to your Amazon Alexa experience at Climate Pledge Arena

To ask a question or play trivia, you must begin your sentence with “Alexa, ask Climate Pledge Arena,”

How does it work?

Alexa is always ready to help, but you determine when Alexa starts listening to your requests. When you want to talk to Alexa on your Echo device, you have to first say “Alexa,” or press the action button on your device.

Only after your Echo device detects the wake word or you’ve pressed the action button is Alexa listening to your request.

To connect to WiFi:

  • Go to Settings on your phone 
  • Click on WiFi 
  • Select ClimatePledgeArena

Trivia Rules and Prizes

Each event, there will be a set of trivia questions to play on your Alexa device. To play say, “Alexa, ask Climate Pledge Arena to play trivia.” You may tell Alexa to stop or continue at any point as long as a question hasn’t been started. You will receive points based off the skill level. Compete with other suite members! Seattle Kraken Alexa Suite Trivia Contest Trophy with nameplate for winning team to be displayed in the suite until following year.

Disclaimer

If you don’t want to use Alexa, you can push the microphone on/off button on the top of your Amazon Echo device. The Echo status bar will turn red and Alexa will not respond to your requests until you push the button again to turn the microphone back on.
