To ask a question or play trivia, you must begin your sentence with “Alexa, ask Climate Pledge Arena,”
Alexa is always ready to help, but you determine when Alexa starts listening to your requests. When you want to talk to Alexa on your Echo device, you have to first say “Alexa,” or press the action button on your device.
Only after your Echo device detects the wake word or you’ve pressed the action button is Alexa listening to your request.
There is no passcode, enjoy!

If you don’t want to use Alexa, you can push the microphone on/off button on the top of your Amazon Echo device. The Echo status bar will turn red and Alexa will not respond to your requests until you push the button again to turn the microphone back on.
