Samantha Holloway forms One Roof Sports and Entertainment to support future ambitions
Group reaches agreement to increase stake in Climate Pledge Arena
SEATTLE, WA – 3/23/2026 – The ownership group of the Seattle Kraken, led by Samantha Holloway, today announced the launch of One Roof Sports and Entertainment to oversee a growing portfolio of properties and fuel new opportunities.
In addition, Holloway announced that One Roof Sports and Entertainment and Oak View Group (OVG) have entered into an agreement on a pre-planned ownership transition designed to enable the pursuit of future opportunities. One Roof Sports and Entertainment will become the majority owner of Climate Pledge Arena, and OVG, still maintaining a significant minority stake, will continue its role in booking and operating the award-winning venue under a long-term agreement.
One Roof Sports and Entertainment will serve as the umbrella brand for:
• Seattle Kraken
• Climate Pledge Arena
• One Roof Foundation
• Kraken Community Iceplex
• The partnership with the City of Seattle and Seattle Public schools to redevelop the New Memorial Stadium at Seattle Center
• And represent the enterprise’s interest in the AHL’s Coachella Valley Firebirds and Acrisure Arena

A Growing Sports & Community Footprint
Climate Pledge Arena opened in October 2021 and is home to the NHL’s 32nd franchise, the Seattle Kraken, the WNBA’s Seattle Storm, and the PWHL’s Seattle Torrent and is a top ten global music venue hosting over 60 major concerts annually. It is the only arena in North America that is home to two professional women’s teams.
The Seattle Kraken have helped spark a surge in participation in ice sports across the region, with the team’s HQ, Kraken Community Iceplex, serving as the hub for growth. A new two-sheet facility is planned for Kirkland, Washington, opening in Fall 2027. Meanwhile, One Roof Foundation is committed to expanding access to play for young people across the Pacific Northwest. Its work inspired the organization’s most ambitious community project, the new Memorial Stadium at Seattle Center. The new stadium, which will open in 2027, will be a home for student athletes for generations to come and revive a community asset built in 1947 to honor Seattle students who lost their lives in World War II.
